WWE NXT 2.0 Superstar Carmelo Hayes has made it clear he wants nothing to do with Velveteen Dream, who is eyeing a return to the company.

Dream, a former NXT North American Champion, was released in May 2021 after allegations of sending explicit photos to minors.

While he admitted that the photos were of him, Dream, aka Patrick Clark, claims that his account had been hacked.

On social media this week, Hayes vented his frustration that he does not have a match for this week’s ‘Worlds Collide’ event between NXT 2.0 and NXT UK.

When a fan suggested that Hayes, the reigning NXT North American Champion, face ‘DREAM,’ the NXT 2.0 Superstar refused the idea.

“Hell Na.”

Dream recently took to social media to tease a return to WWE with the hashtag #BringBackVelveteenDream.

WWE Worlds Collide 2022 will take place on September 4, and will be the final event for NXT UK.

While WWE has insisted that NXT UK will go on a “brief hiatus” ahead of the launch of NXT Europe next year, many fans believe the brand is finished.
