The following is our play-by-play coverage of the WWE NXT TakeOver: In Your House event:
WWE NXT Champion Karrion Kross vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Pete Dunne vs. Kyle O’Reilly vs. Adam Cole – Fatal Five Way Match
They all started brawling to start things off. Kross blocked some kicks by Dunne then hit a belly-to-belly suplex. Kross with a series of clotheslines to Cole in the corner then kicks to everyone else. Kross with dual suplexes. Kyle took out everyone with a series of kicks and knee strikes. He beat up Cole with strikes before going for an armbar. Kross went after Cole and tried to powerbomb him on the rampway.
Dunne and Gargano sent Kross through the front door of the stage. Dunne and Gargano did some roll up spots. Gargano with a DDT to Dunne then sent him into Cole and Kyle in the corner. Kyle and Cole traded strikes then did some reverses. Kyle had Cole in the ankle lock, but Kross sent Kyle over the barricade before hitting a suplex to Cole. Kross slammed Gargano on the apron then sent Dunne over the barricade.
Kross with an F5 to Gargano for a near fall. Cole with a series of superkicks Gargano. Cole went for the panama sunrise, but Gargano blocked it by spiking Cole on his head. Kyle with a german suplex into a bridge on Cole for a near fall. Cole caught Kross with a superkick. There was a double submission spot with Dunne and O’Reilly. Cole with a neck breaker to Kyle for 2. Dunne and Kross went at it with Kross hitting a german and so did Dunne. Dunne hit Bitter End for a near fall. Dunne with a triangle choke on Kross until Gargano and Cole jumped in to break it up. Kross went for his sleeper on Dunne, who snapped Kross’ fingers. Kross with his sleeper on O’Reilly as O’Reilly had Cole in a heel hook and O’Reilly passed out.
