WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames Results – Kings Of NXT vs. The Undisputed ERA


The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames event:

WarGames Match: The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish) vs. The Kings of NXT (Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch)

Dunne and O’Reilly started things off. Lorcan was next in and followed by Fish, who cleaned house. Fish hit a spinebuster to Lorcan. Burch followed and brought a paddle with him. O’Reilly put him in a heel hook, but the match continued and Dunne broke it up with a kick to the arm. Cole and McAfee were the last to enter the match.

McAfee brought in a tables with a UE design. McAfee hit a moonsault to Strong through a table. Cole ran down and got a fire extinguisher, which he used, then a chair before getting into the structure. Cole laid out everyone until getting to Dunne. Burch and Lorcan laid out O’Reilly with a double suplex then took out Fish by sending him into the steel. McAfee took out Cole’s left knee with a chop block. McAfee locked in the figure four leg lock on Cole, but Cole reversed it and got out of it. There was a botched table spot until Strong jumped off the top rope sending Dunne and Burch through it. UE took various shots at the heels while they were placed up against the cage. McAfee was the only person standing from the other team and UE walked him down. McAfee tried to escape, but they stopped him and beat the former NFL punter down. Cole went for a punt, but was attacked by Dunne.

Another brawl broke out. O’Reilly had a nasty landing while doing a suplex with Burch off the top rope. Cole hit a neck breaker to Dunne off the top rope. McAfee did a swanton bomb off the top of the cage to take everyone out. Dunne hit the Bitter End to O’Reilly for a near fall. O’Reilly went to the top rope, but McAfee took him out with a chair shot. Cole was about to hit McAfee with a chair, but McAfee caught him with a low blow. Cole rallied back with a big boot. Fish speared Burch through a table. McAfee with a super kick to Cole, but Cole caught McAfee with one of his own then hit a panama sunrise for a near fall. Cole hit Burch with a running knee strike. Dunne hit Bitter End to Cole on a chair. Strong with a back breaker to Dunne. Fish and Strong hit their finisher on Burch before O’Reilly landed a flying knee off the top rope to Burch’s face with a chair.
