According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials are said to be very high on Damian Priest. As many of you know by now, Priest recently joined the RAW roster full-time after making his main roster debut in the 2021 Royal Rumble match.
WWE officials look at Priest as their next big Latin American star. The company has been looking for someone like him since Alberto Del Rio was released from the company. Dave Meltzer said,
“They [WWE] have been looking for that new Latin star ever since Alberto Del Rio left, and they got a tall guy. And he talks really well, and you know, he moves really well. And he’s not bad in the ring, he’s good in the ring, so yeah. I think he’s going to get a real good chance.”
During a recent interview, Priest said that if being paired up with Bad Bunny means he’ll be at WrestleMania 37, he’s “all for it.”
