WWE has filed an opposition to AEW wrestler Claudio Castagnoli‘s trademark for “CSRO.”
Castagnoli filed the trademark for merchandising and performing purposes following his release from WWE in March 2022. The CSRO trademark is a spin on his Cesaro ring name in WWE.
The Swiss athlete has been wrestling under the ring name Claudio Castagnoli in both AEW and ROH. Castagnoli is currently the reigning ROH World Champion.
WWE requested a 90-day extension on filing their opposition to the CSRO trademark on February 28th.
