WWE has made plans for their two WrestleMania 39 main events, but neither match will involve the winners of this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
During WrestleMania: Backlash, a commercial for Money in the Bank revealed that the winners of the two ladder matches will headline WrestleMania.
In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that neither main event will feature the ladder match-winners:
“Vince has plans already in place for the top matches at Mania and the winners of MITB in the title matches wouldn’t be that, although that commercial aired three times without an edit.”
No contestants have been announced for either Money in the Bank ladder match, which will happen on July 2.
