Former WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Kayden Carter and Katana Chance debuted on RAW last night against the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. Baszler tapped Carter out via the Kirifuda Clutch to secure the win.
Per a recent report by Pwinsider, WWE was happy with the recent NXT call-ups’ debut showing.
Carter & Chance were the third pick of the sixth round on Night Two of the 2023 WWE Draft, but did not debut until this week.
In other news, Damian Priest’s match against Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship on last night’s episode of RAW also garnered significant internal acclaim.
