As seen at Sunday’s (July 15, 2018) WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the PPG Paints Arena on the WWE Network, Kevin Owens was able to beat Braun Strowman in a Steel Cage match after Strowman tossed him off the top of the cage through a table.
WWE issued a storyline injury update on Owens by stating that he sustained “multiple injuries, including bruising of the shoulder and back, bruised ribs and a neck strain.” It was added that he will be re-evaluated later this week.
