During this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, John Cena kicked off the show to a thunderous reaction as he cut a promo on WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. After having a little fun in promoting his latest flick, “The Suicide Squad”, which releases next month, he went on to cut a promo on Roman Reigns and proceeded to call him an “a**hole”, among other things. He said,
“Roman Reigns is an arrogant, self-absorbed, overhyped, overprotected, overexposed gimmick who is not as over as he says he is, and that’s coming from me. There is a saying, ‘if you’re good, you’ll tell everybody. If you’re good, you’ll demand everyone acknowledge you’ … the rest of that saying is, ‘If you’re great, they’ll tell you.”
Cena is set to appear on Friday’s SmackDown broadcast, where he’s sure to run across Reigns.
