As many of you know by now, the ratings for WWE Monday Night RAW have been continuing to steadily drop for years now. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, RAW had its biggest year-to-year drop ever in the month of July.

The ratings for last month’s RAW were down 36.2% from 2019, which sets a new all-time record. The previous record drop was between April 2018 and April 2019, with a 25% drop. The drop from this year’s April compared to last year was 21%. The drop in May was 23% and the drop in June was 24%. When WWE brought back Ric Flair, The Big Show and Christian, there was a very slight increase but it dropped again after just two weeks.

Until July, there had never been a 30% or greater drop year-to-year in the history of RAW. Over the last six weeks, the drop from last year has been over 30% in five of those weeks. Of course, the pandemic is playing a big role but it’s not good news for WWE.
