Monday night’s RAW Is XXX kicked off with The Trial of Sami Zayn. Paul Heyman acted as the prosecuting attorney and put forth a handful of arguments, accusing Zayn of secretly plotting against the Island of Relevancy and calling him a traitor. In response, Zayn noted that he didn’t have any defense, accused Heyman of using edited footage to frame him, and asked the fans to validate his loyalty towards The Bloodline. The judge of The Tribal Court, Roman Reigns then passed the judgment against Zayn.
Solo Sikoa proceeded to shred Zayn to pieces when Jey Uso stopped his cousin and laid out a defense for the Honorary Uce. The Tribal Chief was moved by this gesture and reversed his judgment by ruling Zayn innocent, but also decreeing that Zayn would face a final test at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.
Following the segment, The Usos defended the RAW Tag Team Championships against The Judgment Day. Jimmy Uso was “injured” during the match and Zayn stepped up to replace him. The Honorary Uce nailed Dominik Mysterio with the 1D to score the victory, allowing The Bloodline to retain the titles.
