WWE Removes Tom Phillips From The Fastlane Kickoff Show Due To Affair Scandal?

WWE announcer Tom Phillips did not appear at Sunday night’s WWE Fastlane pay-per-view event as he was replaced in his typical role as social media lounge host. The possible reason for his removal from the show could be due to the news that broke late last month where a woman claimed he was involved in an affair (see below).

During the WWE Fastlane Kickoff show, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T appeared to make reference to the situation as he interrupted new social media lounge host Charly Caruso’s introduction to ask where the “dirty bird” was. Caruso noted that Phillips had “graciously” stepped aside to allow her to take over for tonight.

Phillips set all of his social media accounts to “private” following the story breaking.

ORIGINAL STORY: Tom Phillips has apparently been caught in an online affair. A woman who claims to have been involved with Phillips posted a picture to Instagram showing a sexually explicit conversation between her and Phillips, which appears to be an text conversation on an iPhone. She posted a photo showing Phillips’ pensis and captioned it with the following: “This is why I don’t trust people. Without my friends I never would’ve known that a high profile WWE commentator who was talking to me and wanted to get together, is engaged. I had zero idea and I couldn’t be more sorry to the girl involved. You deserve better than this. Apparently nobody is faithful anymore.”

Phillips set all of his social media profiles to private after word broke about the post. Neither WWE nor Phillips have publicly commented on the story as of yet.
