According to a story published by Forbes, WWE is heavily considering turning John Cena heel in the near future. This report claims that they are considering a heel turn for Cena in order to get some of the younger generation over and that his role as a full-time competitor isn’t as prominent as it once was.
In addition, there have been some growing concerns regarding the ratings for Smackdown and a lot believe a heel turn for Cena would help in that regard because it would make people tune in more. Also, some officials would like to see John Cena as a heel for a feud with The Undertaker for WrestleMania 33 when he returns from his hiatus.
