WWE reportedly considers Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson as “another Brock Lesnar” in terms of in-ring ability.
Steveson, who won gold in the Tokyo 2021 Summer games, was signed to a contract last September, but WWE has allowed him to continue his tenure at the University of Minnesota.
According to Dave Meltzer, WWE considers Steveson as “another Brock Lesnar,” and will be pushed accordingly upon his arrival to the main roster.
Steveson was drafted to Raw in last October’s WWE Draft but has yet to compete on the red brand.
Steveson and Lesnar briefly met backstage during WWE Day 1 2022.
