We have a rumor to pass along regarding WWE’s plans for a possible Shield reunion. Now that Roman Reigns is back in the fold, perhaps WWE can squeeze in one more reunion for the famed faction before Dean Ambrose’s departure from the promotion.
WWE teased as much on last week’s episode of RAW when Rollins and Reigns came to Ambrose’s aid against Bobby Lashley, Elias, Baron Corbin, and Drew McIntyre. John Pollock of POST Wrestling is reporting that there are currently two options available for WWE in regards to a Shield reunion.
The first being a 3-on-3 match against Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, and Baron Corbin. The other option is a 4-on-4 bout, with Braun Strowman and Elias joining the storyline. Pollock noted that this was something that was debuted at RAW this week and a decision has yet to be made.
With Rollins scheduled to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at WrestleMania 35, it’s being speculated the match could take place at Fastlane. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more…
