Every WWE fan should be looking forward to NXT’s quarterly PPV special, NXT Takeover. Takeover usually airs on the Saturday before the big four PPV’s and takes place exclusively on the WWE Network. Well, today WWE released their second quarter earnings from this year. By the looks of it, Takeover is a huge source of income for them.

Although it is just a rumor, The No Holds Barred Podcast reported that Vince McMahon was looking to move the number of NXT specials from four or five to at least eight a year.

About a month ago, The Drifter, Elias, called out Chris Jericho and today, he did it again. Elias had the opportunity to speak to Complex Magazine about his recent debut album, Walk With Elias. During the interview, Elias called out Y2J saying, “To be honest with you, I’m sick of Chris Jericho. I’ve had enough of Chris Jericho. I’ve seen him on my TV far too often. I’m the guy that plays guitar and sings on Monday Night RAW, and he shows up, and tries to steal my act? It was OK for a quick laugh or something like that but on a personal level, the guy’s personality just rubs me the wrong way. His ego is just totally out of control, unfounded, and I can’t stand people whose egos are just not deserving. That’s all I can say.”

Whether or not this beef spills into a WWE ring we will have to wait and see, but the promo battles between these two would be wonderful!
