— The WWFX show where John Morrison won the Heavyweight title actually drew 5,080 fans – not 1,200.

— The three shows WWE did in Abu Dhabi last week drew between 5,000 and 6,000 fans in a 6,000-seat arena. WWE grossed around $2 million for the tour. Ticket prices were much higher than normal ($100+ average) because WWE was in a richer region. As we noted earlier, the WWE talents were informed about what to do and what not to do, to keep everything low key and not party too much or get out of control. WWE also did not use pyro or fireworks, the Titantron or the Divas due to their culture.

— Chris Jericho was in attendance for yesterday’s 2012 Golden Gods Awards press conference in Los Angeles with Alice Cooper, Zakk Wylde and others. Jericho hosted last year’s awards show but no word yet if he will be involved this year. This year’s show takes place on April 11th at Club Nokia in LA.

Jericho rival CM Punk is up for the Most Metal Athlete award this year. Punk goes up against MMA star Gina Carano, motorcross racer Brian Deegan, MLB star Evan Longoria, NBA player Dirk Nowitzki and NFL star Mitch Petrus.
