WWE’s New Film, The Next NXT/FSU Tapings, Vince McMahon

— As noted earlier here on the website, Vince McMahon issued a directive Monday night to not mention Fort Wayne, Indiana, during the Raw SuperShow telecast. The WWE Chairman and CEO feels that if a show’s host city does not sound “big league enough,” it will not be mentioned on television. He made the same call for the June 5 SmackDown in Columbia, South Carolina.

— The next WWE NXT tapings take place on July 12th at Full Sail University. WWE is advertising Kane, “WWE Divas,” Cody Rhodes and Jim Ross for the tapings.

— On July 28th in Spartanburg, NC, ROH World Tag Team Champions The All Night Express will defend the titles for the first time against Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander.

— According to Deadline, WWE Studios and Troika Pictures are teaming to co-produce and co-finance The Hive. The film stars Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin, and here is a synopsis of the film… In the film, an emergency call center operator (Berry) takes a call from a teenage girl (Breslin) who has been abducted and carried away in the trunk of a car. The kidnapping plays out in real time as Jordan and Casey work together to track down the killer.
