— WWE has announced via email that “more than five million” people saw WrestleMania around the world. That equates to an average of 3.84 people per household, considering the 1.3 million buyrate. The full statement is below:

WrestleMania set a record of 1.3 million pay-per-view buys worldwide and was seen by more than five million fans in 105 countries. The “Once in a Lifetime” extravaganza was also seen by a sellout crowd of 78,363 fans from all 50 U.S. states and 36 countries at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, marking the highest attended event in the stadium’s history.
