Earlier this morning, the 70th annual Emmy Award nominations were announced. Although WWE tried to earn nominations for their “WWE 24: Empowered”, the Andre the Giant documentary, Total Divas. Total Bellas, WrestleMania 34, Monday Night RAW, & Mixed Match Challenge shows, they were completely shut out of all the nominations.
It should be noted that this was the first year WWE was ever able to get any of their programming to be featured on the preliminary ballot.
