The Friday Night Wars numbers are in, and it’s a clear-cut victory for WWE.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FS1 drew 793,000 viewers for the supersized show featuring an additional commercial-free 30 minutes, according to figures first reported from the Fast National charts by Mat Men podcast host Andrew Zarian.
By comparison, last week’s blue brand show drew 2.147 million viewers for the regular two-hour broadcast on big FOX.
On the other side of the fence, AEW Rampage drew 549,000 viewers for their broadcast on TNT from 10-11pm on Friday night, October 15, 2021.
For comparison sake, last week’s Rampage show drew 466,000 viewers on TNT on the Fast National charts, while the final viewership figure came in at a reported 502,000.
Based strictly on the early Fast National numbers, WWE Friday Night SmackDown out-drew AEW Rampage by a margin of 31-percent for the shows that aired on Friday night.
We will keep you posted as more detailed ratings, viewership and key demographic figures come in for both shows.

Repost to correct my math.
Last 4 weeks SD's viewership was 34% in the demo. 38-40% in the 3 FS1 eps.
Rampage last week was 46%, higher in weeks prior.
46% of Rampage's 549k = 253k (0.19 rating)
37% of SD's 793k = 293k (0.22)
If Rampage % higher or SD % lower, it's closer. https://t.co/3dFH4wfZXh
