As seen during the opening segment of Friday night’s WWE SmackDown broadcast, Vince McMahon and The Fiend came face-to-face. Vince opened the show, introducing WWE’s new ThunderDome concept but he was quickly interrupted by “The Fiend”. He refused to let McMahon go until Braun Strowman came out. Also during the opening segment of SmackDown, RETRIBUTION came out as Braun Strowman and The Fiend were ready to face off. It looked like the two were then going to team up to fend off the group but the lights went out and when they came back on, The Fiend was gone and Strowman was attacked. The entire WWE SmackDown locker-room then came out and made the save:
