Friday night’s edition of WWE SmackDown was the final stop on the Road To WrestleMania 39, and SpoilerTV has released the preliminary overnight numbers for the show.
WWE SmackDown on March 31st averaged 2.389 million viewers, based on 2.364 million viewers for the first hour and 2.415 million viewers for the second hour.
The overnight audience increased compared to last week’s show, which averaged 2.121 million viewers. The final audience for the March 24th show was 2.219 million viewers, and the overnight audience was higher than that.
WWE SmackDown also topped the primetime network programming in the key demo ratings on March 31st. The episode averaged a 0.64 rating, up from last week’s overnight rating of 0.53. The overnight number was also higher as the final key demo rating for last week was 0.58.
Blue Bloods on CBS topped Friday primetime network programming with an overall viewership of 5.189 million.
