We have new details on the recent layoffs, as the head of WWE Studios is now the latest victim in a growing list of WWE corporate releases. According to Wrestlenomics, Susan Levison was let go from the company as part of the layoffs. Levison has been the Senior Vice President and Head of WWE Studios since March 2019. Susan was also an Executive Producer for the WWE produced Netflix film: “The Main Event”, which starred The Miz. She was also a producer for “The Big Show Show” during Paul “Big Show” Wight’s last year in WWE before jumping ship to AEW, along with producing WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures on A&E. Her last role will be with the upcoming documentary “Rumble”, which will release in January 2022.

So far, at least 60 people have been laid off this week. WWE held an all hands on deck meeting on Wednesday to address the layoffs. WWE President Nick Khan, along with Kristina Salen, were leading the call for the meeting. Wrestlenomics noted that Kevin Dunn briefly spoke at the meeting to explain how the consolidation will work. Interestingly enough, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon-Levesque and Paul “Triple H” Levesque were not apart of the meeting.

Khan gave some encouraging words for the employees and at one point he got emotional relaying a story about a young woman who commuted four hours from work to college, which was apparently an example of the strong work ethic that employees might emulate. All WWE employees are expected to return back to WWE Headquarters on July 6th. The remaining employees are not required to be vaccinated. However, employees that are not vaccinated will be required to wear a face mask through an honor based system with WWE.
