The following is our play-by-play coverage of the WWE SummerSlam PPV event:
WWE United States Champion Sheamus vs. Damien Priest
Priest came out strong with a series of strikes then a slam for 2. Priest with various kicks that sent Sheamus to the floor. Priest with an outside dive and he landed bad on his hip. Sheamus with a knee strike on the apron. Sheamus sent him back first into the ring post.
Back in the ring, Sheamus stayed in control and beat him down for a bit. Sheamus used the top rope to his advantage then hit a closeline. Priest managed to comeback when Priest hit a suplex for a near fall. Sheamus put him in a leg lock, but Priest ripped the mask off Sheamus’ face then Priest landed a series of strikes. Priest with the heel kick then hit his finisher for the win.
