In a report by Fightful Select, we have an update on two WWE Superstars who were noticeably absent from last week’s edition of SmackDown. Both Jey Uso and Robert Roode were not backstage at the recent SmackDown taping. Other Superstars missing from the show were Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake.
As of now, Jey Uso is still scheduled to be a participant for the Royal Rumble match, taking place later tonight on the WWE Network starting at 7PM EST. Also, Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler both appeared on the WWE Ahora preview show to promote the Royal Rumble event earlier this afternoon so they appear to be backstage.
No reason was given as to why they were absent from the show.
