As we previously reported here on eWn, Vince McMahon was backstage at the Monday Night RAW TV tapings in Hartford, CT, last night. We now have more updates pertaining to how the situation was perceived by talent, via Pwinsider.
McMahon’s vision and direction were keenly felt as he “re-worked” the broadcast, altering the order of matches and segments to align with his creative vision. As a result, the show underwent a reconfiguration, although sources indicate that the process was not excessively demanding or stressful.
In contrast to McMahon’s previous appearances at RAW, there appeared to be a diminished level of resentment or anger among the talent this time around. One wrestler, who spoke with the site after the taping, highlighted a notable shift, stating that “the band-aid has already been ripped off.” There seems to be an unspoken understanding among the talent that McMahon has assumed his position of authority once again. Even if he is not present every week, it is widely acknowledged that he is back in charge, and his decisions are to be followed without question.
