The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE TLC PPV event:
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens – TLC Match
Owens attacked Reigns from behind then hit a series of cannonballs in the corner and up against the barricade. Jey Uso got involved and when he went for a super kick, Owens hit him with a chair. Reigns attacked Owens and sent him into the steps. He hit him several times with a chair. Owens fired back with a chair shot of his own. Owens climbed the ladder, but Jey came back down to the ring and attacked him.
Owens fought back and hit a Stunner to Reigns. Owens hit a powerbomb to Jey through a table. Reigns and Owens brawled at the top of the ladder. Reigns hit a powerbomb to Owens on a ladder in the corner. He followed it up with a chokeslam through a table at ringside and then a samoan drop through a table. Owens wouldn’t quit so Reigns talked some trash before spearing him through a table. Reigns went for a spear, but Owens moved and Reigns crashed through the barricade. Owens climbed the ladder, but Reigns stopped him.
Reigns sent him into the ladder. Owens with a super kick then a powerbomb through a table. Owens climbed the ladder, but Jey stopped him. Owens with a Stunner to Jey. Reigns with a low blow then applied the guillotine choke and Owens fell.
Winner: Roman Reigns
