The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE TLC PPV event:
Angle walked out with Rollins and Ambrose as they did the traditional Shield entrance. Angle was dressed up as the Shield. Ambrose, Rollins, and Angle grabbed chairs, and a brawl broke out. Angle hit Kane with a chair. Ambrose and Rollins hit an outside dive taking out Miz, Cesaro, and Sheamus.
Rollins grabbed a small ladder and hit the heels with it. Angle hit Strowman in the gut with a ladder and then several times after that. Rollins hit Kane with a flying knee strike, and Ambrose drop kicked Kane out of the ring. Rollins with a dive off the steps to Kane. Angle hit Kane with a ladder in the gut. Rollins and Ambrose got the announce table ready. Cesaro and Sheamus attacked them from behind.
Rollins tossed Sheamus into the steps, and Ambrose sent Cesaro to the barricade. Kane attempted a comeback, but the numbers game got to him especially with them using chairs. They placed Kane on the table, but Strowman attacked them from behind. Strowman got the other table ready and was about to powerbomb Angle, but Rollins hit Strowman with a chair several times. They sent Strowman head first into the ring post twice.
They placed Strowman on the announce table. They set up two ladders, and Rollins and Ambrose jumped off them onto Strowman and Kane. Angle hit Miz a series of times with a chair and got him into the ring. Cesaro and Sheamus jumped Angle and beat him down with a chair then a ladder. Miz, Cesaro, and Sheamus hit a triple powerbomb to Angle, but Rollins and Ambrose made the save just in time. Cesaro hit Rollins with a piece of the table.
Angle with a series of german suplexes to The Miz then Sheamus then Cesaro. Kane set up outside and went for Angle in the ring. Angle went for a german, but Kane blocked and went for a choke slam, but Angle blocked and locked in the ankle lock. Strowman took out Angle and sent him into the barricade. Strowman set up a table on the floor and hit his finisher to Angle through the table. Two doctors checked on Angle. The heels beat down Rollins and Ambrose with chairs. Kane hit a side slam to Rollins. Doctors helped Angle away from ringside and to the back.
They sent Rollins head first into a chair that was placed in the corner. The heels took turns by hitting them with chairs. Rollins and Ambrose tried to rally back. Kane accidentally hit Strowman with a chair and that ticked off the big man. Strowman shoved Kane, and The Miz tried to play peacekeeper. Rollins and Ambrose attempted to take advantage, but it failed.
Cesaro and Sheamus attempted to slam Ambrose through a table, but it failed. Strowman then launched Ambrose through it. The Miz told them to bring Ambrose and Rollins to the stage. Miz motioned for a dump truck to be brought into the arena. They placed Ambrose and Rollins into the truck, but they fought out of it and jumped off the truck onto the heels. Everyone was down except for Miz, who was chased down by Ambrose and Rollins.
Kane emerged and beatdown Rollins and Ambrose. Strowman also jumped in. Kane attacked Strowman and chokeslam him through the stage. Kane stood over Strowman then knocked several chairs that were part of the stage down onto Strowman. Ambrose and Rollins double teamed Kane, but Kane fought back and double chokeslammed them through two tables.
Ambrose was cut on his right elbow and bleeding. Strowman rose through the wreckage and stood as Kane watched on in disbelief. Strowman tossed Miz onto the stage as he begged then took out Sheamus and Cesaro. Strowman and Kane brawled. They turned on Strowman and beat him down.
They tossed Strowman into the truck and compacted him. They sent Rollins into the ring and Miz hit a DDT, The Bar hit their tag team finisher, but Ambrose made the save to break the count. Kane was about to finish off Ambrose, but Angle walked down to the ring to make the save. Angle hit an Angle Slam to Sheamus and one to Cesaro through a table. Angle took out Miz, but Kane cut him off with a clothesline.
Kane went for the tombstone, but Ambrose and Rollins attacked him with chairs. They speared Kane through the barricade. Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale to Angle for a near fall. Miz was very upset that Angle kicked out.
Angle locked in the Ankle Lock on Miz but Miz got out of it and sent Angle flying through the ropes. The new Shield surrounded Miz, and then Ambrose and Rollins hit their finishers, and Angle topped if off with the Angle Slam. They hit a triple powerbomb for the win.
Winners: Angle, Rollins, and Ambrose.
Angle, Rollins, and Ambrose celebrated in the ring to close the show.
