The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE TLC pay-per-view event that took place tonight (Sunday, December 16th, 2018) in San Jose, California at the SAP Center on WWE’s streaming service, WWE Network:
They start brawling to begin the match only to have McIntyre pick him apart for a few moments. Balor mounted a comeback and landed a series of chops. McIntyre placed him on the top rope but Balor knocked him down and landed a series of kicks. Balor went to the top rope and McIntyre tossed him across the ring. McIntyre with a series of strikes then another toss. McIntyre worked over the left arm of Balor until Balor fought back with some strikes in order to get the fans back into the match. Balor with a double foot stomp and a spinning DDT followed by a clothesline out of the ring. Balor with an outside dive to McIntyre. Back in the ring, Balor connects with the sling blade but only to be caught with a back breaker by McIntyre. Balor rolled him up for 2 then hit a head kick then went to the apron but McIntyre knocked him down and hit a headbutt. Dolph Ziggler comes out of nowhere and super kicks McIntyre then grabs a chair but McIntyre kicked him in the face. Balor drop kicked McIntyre into the corner then hit the double foot stomp for the win.
