The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE TLC pay-per-view event that took place tonight (Sunday, December 16th, 2018) in San Jose, California at the SAP Center on WWE’s streaming service, WWE Network:
WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Seth Rollins © vs. Dean Ambrose
They brawl to begin the match then Rollins hit a flying clothesline and springboard forearm shot in the corner. Ambrose rolled to the floor and hit a clothesline then bounced him face first into the table. Back in the ring, Ambrose worked him over with right hands then landed a suplex. Ambrose went to the top rope and hit an elbow drop for 2. Ambrose locked in a head lock but Seth got out of it. Ambrose tossed him into the corner and hit a clothesline following by an elbow drop for 2 and landed a swinging neck breaker for 2. They trade roll ups until Ambrose locked in a cloverleaf submission but Seth got out of it and Seth hit an outside dive taking out his opponent. Back in the ring, Seth went to the top rope but Ambrose knocked him down. Seth went for a sunset flip powerbomb but Seth slipped then went for it again and hit it in the corner. They trade right hands then Ambrose landed a double chicken wing slam. Seth landed a knee strike to the nose of Ambrose. Seth went for a frog splash but Ambrose put up the knees and covered him for 2. Ambrose with a big boot then went to the top rope but Seth ran up and hit a suplex then the falcon arrow for 2. Ambrose went for the Shield fist bump but Seth kicked him in the face and then landed a series of right hands then tossed him into the barricade. Seth powerbombed him into the barricade. Out of nowhere, Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds and covered him for the win.
