WWE Wanted More Celebrities At SummerSlam, Three Names Pulled Out

According to a new report from Fightful, WWE had planned to have three-time Grammy Award-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion appear at SummerSlam 2021.

Per the report, WWE had planned for Megan Thee Stallion to be a part of the Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair match at the event. The company even had a spot planned for her. This has come after Belair was pictured with the rapper at the Lollapalooza festival at the start of the month. The report states that sources within WWE were under the impression that Stallion’s appearance at the show was a “done deal.” However, at some point last weekend, WWE were informed that the appearance wouldn’t be happening.

This marks the second rapper that the company have now missed out on for the event. There was initially hopes that Cardi B would appear at the event, but these plans were brought to a close when she became pregnant back in June.

Meanwhile, it was reported that WWE had also wanted Mike Tyson to do voiceover work for the event. They were also unsuccessful in securing “Iron Mike” for the job.
