WWE Wants To Be Dismissed From Lawsuit Against Titus O’Neil – Details

As we reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, there was recently a lawsuit filed against Thaddeus “Titus O’Neil” Bullard. Cameraman Donald Anderson says he was injured by Titus during filming of the WWE Network’s “Swerved” show. On April 27th, WWE filed a motion in the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida to have the company dismissed as a defendant. WWE claims that the Florida courts have no jurisdiction over WWE as they are “headquartered there.”

As reported, Anderson is suing for Battery, Assault, Willful Misconduct, Negligence, Gross Negligence, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress and Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress. Anderson claims he suffered “bodily injury, pain and suffering, mental anguish, extreme emotional distress, disfigurement, medical expenses, physical handicap, loss of income, loss of the capacity for enjoyment of life and loss of ability to earn money.”

As far as Titus is concerned, he has yet to file a response. For what it’s worth, O’Neil had lobbied successfully for the lawsuit to be removed from California and moved to Florida where he lives.
