Mauro Ranallo has been the recipient of much support as the story broke of Smackdown Live commentator JBL “bullying” Ranallo for his bipolar disorder. JBL has been receiving tons of hate via social media and most recently fans hazing him during live shows. Ranallo has not released any statements regarding the situation due to the fact the he is still under contract with the WWE.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE is trying to work on a settlement with Mauro Ranallo so that he does not speak publicly about the issue. Of course, this is not an ideal look for WWE seeing as how the company runs many of anti-bullying campaigns etc. WWE’s “Be A Star” which is an anti-bullying organization run by WWE has been questioned as of late due to the uprising of the Ranallo & JBL situation.
Dave Meltzer noted that many of superstars have been in contact with Mauro Ranallo with “bullying” or not so-good stories about JBL, but, many of them are more than likely not going to speak up due to the possibility of burning bridges with the WWE.
