WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Zelina Vega and Carmella vs. Sasha Banks and Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan vs. Natalya & Shayna Baszlerwas booked at the WWE WrestleMania 38 pay-per-view event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
Shayna and Natalya were in control early. Zelina with code red to Morgan. Natalya took out Carmella with a clothesline. Naomi with rear view to Carmella. Shayna with a head kick to Carmella. Carmella with a hurricanrana to Ripley. Vega with a moonsault to Ripley on the floor. Banks and Naomi with a double boot to Morgan. There was a power of doom spot. Ripley and Morgan with a double team move to Naomi for 2 as Banks broke it up. Shayna with a running knee strike to Naomi. Carmella with a superkick to Naomi for a near fall. Naomi with a headkick to Carmella then Banks with a frog splash for a near fall. Banks with the Bank Statement on Carmella, but Vega dragged her out of the ring. Naomi and Banks hit a double team finisher for the win.
