The USA Network has officially announced that The Rainmaker will premiere on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 10 PM ET. New episodes will also be available for streaming on Peacock one week after their network debut.
This scheduling update signals a shift for WWE SmackDown, which expanded to three hours earlier in 2025. With The Rainmaker occupying the 10 PM time slot, SmackDown is expected to return to its traditional two-hour format, airing from 8 to 10 PM ET on Fridays.
The Rainmaker stars Milo Callaghan as Rudy Baylor, a recent law school graduate who faces a career setback when he’s fired on his first day working for powerful attorney Leo Drummond (played by Mad Men’s John Slattery). Forced to regroup, Rudy lands a job with Brusier (Lana Parrilla of Once Upon a Time), a skilled but unconventional lawyer who operates out of a former taco shop. Joining their ragtag legal team is the unkempt but capable paralegal Deck (P.J. Byrne).
