In a recent appearance on the “Chaotic Good Sports” podcast, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce stated that although he is not inclined to wrestle at this point in his career, he is willing to do so at the request of WWE.

A few years back, there was a tease of a match between Pearce and Roman Reigns, but it turned out to be a swerve. Ultimately, Reigns wrestled Kevin Owens instead.

Pearce said, It’s funny because wrestling fans today, especially the WWE Universe, it’s like their jaws drop when I say that. ‘Why don’t you wrestle?’ I don’t want to. I had so many perfect days in the sun, I took so many bumps, I had the time of my life for 20 years and was fortunate enough to have the amount of tools and the toolbox necessary for someone to open a door to a new pathway. I like to say walk your path with passion, and when you get to the end, redefine that path and walk it again. I’ve had multiple paths in pro wrestling, and I’m walking them all. I love every single one of them. Listen, if the time comes and they say, ‘Hey, we need you to have a match,’ brother, I will get my hands dirty. I got my hands dirty [on Raw] with Bronson Reed a little bit. I am certainly capable, but am I looking to do that, particularly on a full-time basis? Hell no. I am good. I’m good just telling people, ‘It is official.’

The latest episode of WWE Speed is online, featuring IYO SKY vs. Naomi in a semifinal match in the Women’s Speed Title tournament.

IYO SKY advanced to the finals, where she will face either Kairi Sane or Candice LeRae.

And finally, on a recent edition of the “Insight” podcast, 2-time NXT Champion Trick Williams said that his dream opponent in WWE is none other than “The Original Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns.

Williams said, Roman Reigns. He’s the top guy in the business right now. Shoutout to Cody Rhodes, who is amazing. I’m glad that he finished and [is] starting his new story. But Roman, he’s the guy who’s been the cornerstone of the business for a while now. So if you don’t want a match with him, then you don’t really want to be here.”
