Next week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw takes place May 12, 2025 at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
It will undoubtedly feature some of the fallout from what transpires at WWE Backlash from this Saturday, but we also know three matches that will be on the episode, too.
AJ Styles will be in action against Finn Balor. This is a result of The Phenomenal One telling Dominik Mysterio that no matter who wins at Backlash between Dirty Dom and Penta, his challenger for the Intercontinental Championship, Styles plans on being the next in line for a title shot. Mysterio asked Balor to take care of Styles, as they have a history together, and Balor first took umbrage with being his lackey, only to then smile and say that of course he would help.
In another backstage segment, The New Day approached Chad Gable and sweet talked him about how American Made deserves more respect. In the minds of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, they’ve already beaten The War Raiders, and it’s The Creed Brothers who deserve to be in title contention instead. As such, Erik and Ivar will be up against Brutus and Julius Creed, with potential tag title implications in the mix (though that hasn’t been confirmed)
Lastly for what’s been announced is another tag team match as Rhea Ripley teams with the women’s world champion Iyo Sky against Giulia and Roxanne Perez. This week, Sky defeated Perez by pinfall and was beaten down by The Prodigy and The Beautiful Madness post-match.
