WWE implemented a series of internal staff reductions this week, including the departure of a senior member of its creative team. Christine Lubrano, who held the role of Senior Vice President of Creative Writing Operations, has been released after over four years with the company.

Lubrano was instrumental in managing the strategic functions of WWE’s creative division. She, alongside Bruce Prichard, oversaw the creative teams behind RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, all of whom ultimately reported to Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

The cuts extended beyond the creative department, impacting several other areas such as creative services, photography, social media, and digital.

Among the more prominent names affected in the digital division is Andrew Karr. Fightful Select is reporting that Karr, a nine-year WWE veteran, contributed in multiple roles, including as an announcer for EVOLVE and a producer for various WWE documentaries.

Also released was Ryan Pappolla, a recognizable digital host known for his appearances on WWE’s The Bump. The future of The Bump remains uncertain; although there have been rumors of a return following its hiatus, no official update has been provided.
