Former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Omos has been absent from WWE programming since competing in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5, 2024 edition of SmackDown. Despite not appearing on TV or working WWE events since then, Fightful Select is reporting that Omos is currently healthy and ready to return to action.
Earlier this year, Omos stepped away from his overseas stint with Pro Wrestling NOAH, where he relinquished the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Championship and announced plans to return to WWE. However, that return has yet to materialize.
It is said that Omos has not been factored into current WWE creative plans, though he is not dealing with any injuries. Sources within WWE say he impressed officials during his time abroad, particularly with his commitment to working in Japan. A source from NOAH also praised his performance and noted that the company would be open to bringing him back in the future.
