Pwinsider has shared some backstage notes from last night’s episode of WWE NXT in St. Louis, MO.
Due to Hurricane Milton, the WWE NXT wrestlers and crew will remain in St. Louis until Friday morning, as travel to Florida is currently impossible. This also applies to Matt Bloom.
Meanwhile, main roster talent not heading to Florida have already returned home.
CM Punk was present backstage at last night’s show, offering guidance. He traveled to the show with NXT talent on a bus and departed in the same manner.
A dark match featured Wendy Choo facing off against Sol Ruca.
Fightful Select has also shared the list of producers and some backstage notes for last night’s episode of WWE NXT.
Shawn Michaels and Matt Bloom produced the Trick Williams & Jey Uso segment. They also produced the Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer segment. Moreover, Bloom produced the Sexxy Red performance with Neil Lawi.
Johnny Moss produced the Kelani Jordan, Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair vs. Fatal Influence match.
Fit Finlay produced the Tony D’Angelo vs. Oba Femi match.
Steve Corino produced the Fraxiom vs. A-Town Down Under match.
Terry Taylor produced the Randy Orton vs. Je’Von Evans match. Evans and Orton rehearsed the planned RKO “extensively” before the show. There is no backstage heat on Evans for the botched move.
The show went as planned, despite travel disruptions caused by Hurricane Milton. There is some doubt about whether next week’s event at the Performance Center will take place as scheduled.
A heel reunion with Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez had been in the works for a long time, going back to before Jade tore her ACL. Furthermore, NXT officials were “very happy” with Stephanie Vaquer’s debut.
And finally, Delta vignettes will continue through NXT Halloween Havoc 2024.
