On this week’s edition of WWE RAW, John Cena opened the show by cutting his first heel promo in decades in front of a hostile Brussels crowd.
Cena said that he had given fans everything he could and that it wasn’t enough for the WWE Universe, hence his decision to turn on them.
Fightful Select is reporting that WWE officials were “ecstatic” with the reception Cena received in Brussels as it was what the company was hoping for.
The segment saw Cena come face-to-face with Cody Rhodes. The pair will face off for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.
