The Street Profits successfully defended their WWE Tag Team Championships in a TLC match on last week’s episode of SmackDown, and the bout has since earned strong praise behind the scenes.
According to a report from Fightful Select, the match was met with “incredible” internal reviews from WWE officials. Sources within the company noted that the performers — particularly those left off the WrestleMania 41 card — delivered a standout performance that became a key talking point among staff and producers.
The chaotic but well-executed match, which also featured #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano) and The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin), was produced by Jamie Noble and Kenny Dykstra. Fortunately, all participants reportedly emerged from the match “relatively healthy.”
