As we reported earlier here on eWn, Matt and Jeff Hardy met with WWE officials during the early morning hours on Friday.
In an update on this, Fightful Select is reporting that the meeting between the Hardys and WWE was an invitation by the company to have them film interviews and content. It is said that some of the filming was for an active series that is being worked on, while other material was for Hardy-specific content.
The team is currently in Cleveland, OH for the WrestleCon convention. They will also be working the TNA Impact TV tapings and have several committed dates to the company moving forward. It was added that the Hardys are enjoying their current run in TNA.
Finally, it was noted that WWE sources said “not to read too much into the matter.” With that being said, some outside of the company believe they’ll likely make an appearance at some point down the line.
