As you all know by now, the recent WWE SmackDown promo between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton went off-script, sparking backstage drama. It all began with Flair referring to herself as the “nepo queen,” but things escalated when she imitated Stratton’s voice, a move that several backstage felt crossed a line. Stratton responded with unscripted comments about Charlotte’s personal life, including a remark about her marriage and a quip involving Ludwig Kaiser, none of which had been approved beforehand.
Charlotte’s impromptu crowd interaction also wasn’t in the script, though this was seen as less controversial. Afterward, WWE’s digital team was instructed to remove the impersonation and Stratton’s personal remarks from the segment online.
Fightful Select is reporting that the reactions backstage ranged from confusion to surprise, with both Flair and Stratton facing some heat. There’s no word of issues backstage after the segment, though. The general reaction was a level of confusion when Flair mocked Stratton’s voice and an “Oh s**t” when things went personal. Interestingly, WWE’s RAW roster found humor in Ludwig Kaiser’s good-natured response to his unexpected mention.
