A highly anticipated reunion between the Lucha Brothers — PENTA El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix — could be on the horizon in WWE, according to a source familiar with the company’s plans.
Though both real-life brothers signed with WWE earlier this year, they have thus far been kept apart on separate brands. PENTA has made waves on Monday Night RAW, becoming a key figure in the Intercontinental Championship picture, while Fenix debuted on SmackDown shortly before WrestleMania 41.
This deliberate separation was reportedly part of a long-term creative strategy aimed at maximizing each brother’s individual debut while generating anticipation for their eventual reunion.
WrestleVotes states, “There are plans in the near future to bring Rey Fenix and PENTA together on the same brand and reintroduce them as the Lucha Brothers. The goal behind Fenix’s SmackDown debut ahead of WrestleMania was to keep PENTA’s Intercontinental Championship storyline on RAW focused and uninterrupted.”
