The Man is back in WWE in a big way.
Becky Lynch made her surprise return at WrestleMania 41 (Night Two), stepping in as Lyra Valkyria’s tag team partner to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Lynch replaced Bayley, who was pulled from the match due to a storyline injury.
Lynch and Valkyria secured the win in dramatic fashion, with Lynch pinning Liv Morgan — who had spent months taunting Lynch and claiming credit for her “retirement” — after delivering a devastating Manhandle Slam.
The victory marks Lynch’s second reign as a Women’s Tag Team Champion, while it’s Valkyria’s first. Their win ended the 56 day reign of The Judgment Day’s duo, who had claimed the titles from Bianca Belair and Naomi on the February 24th episode of RAW. With this win, Valkyria now holds two championships, as she is also the current WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
