Fans attending an upcoming WWE live event in Rosemont, IL will be in store for a huge match with Illinois’ own CM Punk, it has been reported.
According to Sportskeeda’s Dr. Chris Featherstone, Punk will face GUNTHER in a Steel Cage match at the event.
The show will be a part of WWE’s Holiday Tour and will take place on Sunday, December 29, from the Allstate Arena.
After WWE Bad Blood 2024, CM Punk teased pursuing the World Heavyweight Championship before taking a break from programming.
GUNTHER retained the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event, where he defeated Damian Priest and Finn Balor.
