Blue Pain On Support In WWE, Why He Unmasked

Viral wrestler Blue Pain has some fans within WWE, though those in the promotion’s legal department may not be on board with his character.

Pain previously wrestled as Blue Kane before he announced a name change which many believe came after some kind of reprimand from WWE who own the Kane trademark.

On a recent edition of the “Cultaholic Wrestling” podcast, Pain spoke about how his character which parodies the WWE Hall of Famer has been received. He said,

“I’ve heard indirectly from some friends in WWE that quite a lot of people are like, ‘Oh my god, I love Blue Kane.’ I’m like, ‘People in WWE like Blue Kane even if people in WWE Legal don’t.’”

On May 19, Blue Pain unmasked and revealed he is behind the popular ‘Wrestling Memes‘ Twitter page. In the interview, Pain shared his reasons for unmasking. He said,

“I wanted to do this on my own terms. I had two cease-and-desists. That is not a joke, that actually happened… We started the parody, I want to finish it in the correct way.”
