The ‘#WeWantCody’ movement hasn’t gone unnoticed by Booker T, who believes that a rumored match with Seth Rollins wouldn’t be finishing the story.
Since The Rock’s return last week, the WWE Universe has made it clear that Cody Rhodes deserves a WrestleMania 40 match with Roman Reigns over the Brahma Bull.
On a recent edition of his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T discussed the wealth of support behind the American Nightmare. He said,
“I don’t think people wanted to see Cody challenge Seth Rollins because that’s not the story. It’s not the story. People want to see the story completed. I could be wrong. But I think a lot of people are really invested in Cody right now. And, oh, listen to Dallas Page. And he was saying, you know, there couldn’t be a better representative for WWE right now. Then Cody Rhodes.”
A WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press conference is scheduled to take place tomorrow in Las Vegas, NV.
